Internship at Harborside Farms:

We offer a full or part internship on the farm. Full is from May to September and part is either a spring term of May to July or July to September. The internship is for serious applicants only. If you are wanting to start your own farm or have an opportunity to farm this internship would be for you. We have 2 spots available each year.

We will provide:
• A farm house to live which has your own room, shared kitchen, shared living space. This farm house has electricity but no running water.
• Garden food.
• Grain for baking, eggs and milk.
• A learning plan
• $200 stipend a month
• Access to main house for laundry and showers
•farm tours




We expect:
• 12 hours and sometimes more a day.
• Sometimes 7 days a week, but we try and schedule time off.
• Respect for the farm and family.
• The ability to be able to be alone for long periods of time.

We are a young family which wants to teach others; we work hard and love the land. Farming is not easy but with the help of others and by offering this internship we hope to make things easier for the people wanting to farm, other farmers and ourselves.
